Don't know if I got any. I was at my fiancee's so I don't know if any stopped here. Wouldn't have had candy for them anyways.

I don't watch movies on cable. I watch them after I get them for DVD or on Netflix. I think that is the way to go.

I dont normally watch movies on tv either, but it was late and there wasnt much else on (and its the japanese version with subtitles instead of dubbed), so when I saw it was going to be on I was like 'hey, something to watch tonite'...guess the idiots at the cable company (yes you know who they are ) decided that late night on halloween is a good time to take down the system /facepalm....and I was on hold for almost an hour, and then got to take to india (oh yeah, she empathized with me, NOT).

nice and cool out today...and the idiots at the condo assssssociation decided that they should have the gutters cleaned out---ONTO our balcony!!! ...which my hubby had just swept yesterday (these are also the people who said gutter cap thingys dont work, yet we have things in the gutters that are supposed to keep the leaves out, however, the seem to trap the leaves IN the gutters instead--yeah that was worth the money. So now they have to pay people to clean out the gutters that arent supposed to need cleaning because of the gutter dodad /bangheadonwall)...

the stupidity here just continues and continues....

Glad I haven't had those problems yet... I hope not to have them for a while but who knows.

It was actually warm today compared to the past few days. Almost got up to 60. Ya some of those gutter shields work, some don't. I'd almost rather just clean the gutters instead of paying to have shields that may or may not work put on.

ours dont work and they were put there TO keep the leaves out, so instead we PAID to have them put in and STILL PAY to have people clean them--a true government at work!

will be soooooo happy to get out of this place!

Ya I can't wait to have a place of my own where I mainly have to pay for decisions I make as opposed to ones that a company decides on.

today is put away halloween decorations and take out the turkeys (some of mine are hidding well this year )....and more cleaning /bleh

we made homemade pizza (it was one of the list of dinners for the week, so it was ok).
Hubby will sometimes make dinner, but he will usually ask me what we want to have thus getting us back to what to make for dinner
(tonite is surf and turf).

and for all you americans who might be reading this...did you remember to get an extra hour of sleep today? (for those who arent checking the time on their computers )

I grilled out burgers last night. They were actually pretty darn good. I grilled the buns to which definitely added something I think. Awesome.

I did remember an extra hour of sleep. Not that it matters. Still woke up when I normally would lol

surf (fish, shellfish) and turf (beef)...so we are having beef and shrimp for dinner...both of whom are relaxing in our fridge....and a nice salad on the side.

grilling in this weather???? well ...guess its not snowing yet so .....

Not much of a surf person personally. Maybe that is just me.

It wasn't too bad last night. Low 40's, but I was wearing a hoodie and some underarmour so I was just fine. So it was no big deal at all for me.

wasnt much of a surf person before I lived in japan, but since coming home I can make it myself and not add 2 pounds of salt--tastes pretty dang good.

just finished with dinner....was nicely cooked and very tasty if I do say so myself (since I cooked I do I do )

Salt is bad for me. Really it is bad for everyone, but even worse for me since I only have 1.5 kidneys. Awesome I know. Fiancee is making chicken tonight. Should be yummy.

since this is turning into a 'what I am eating' thread... I had porridge for breakfast, made with milk and lemon. (I find lemon a good substitute for salt have you tried strawberries sprinkled with lemon?).

Yup, I have a whole kidney on my right side but only half a kidney on my left side. I'm just cool like that.

This has always been either a what I'm eating or the weather thread. Just how we do it now.

breakfast? /lunch....egg salad on pretzel bread.

yeah, salt is very bad for you, and well...go back a few pages where we had the salt talks!

I had cereal and then a chicken sandwich and peaches for lunch today. No idea what dinner is for tonight though.

A bit on the chilly side. Just took my walk, was definitely a cooler walk than normal. 43 out.

its monday...so its fish night.
tonight's menu includes salmon over rice with caramelized onions and scrambled egg toppings, a sauce of sake, soy and yakisoba sauces reduced down to a golden syrup consistency....

and yes it was very tasty! (not used to the time change yet so got hungry a wee bit early )

I had pizza bagels. They were warm and yummy. So it was all good.
